Who we are
Scott and Eryn Brown have planted their roots in the Pontiac with their two young daughters and have started growing more than just their family.
Scott is a 3rd generation Construction Boilermaker who left his old dream career in construction planning for a new dream that would allow him to connect to our food and the land we grow it on. Now he is full-time on our family farm where he spends his days moving the layer/broiler chickens and operating the Market Garden. He had the privilege to intern on Terramor’s Farms’ Market Garden last season along with the amazing crew there! Scott enjoys backcountry canoe trips and a good game of Hockey.
Eryn is a former Child and Youth Care Practitioner and Registered Holistic Nutritionist specializing in Children’s health. Eryn paused her work to start our family and help out with the daily operations at the farm. Eryn is also a classically trained singer so the kids and animals are alway treated with a tune in the field. It is a dream come true for Eryn to raise her babies on the farm and watch them thrive here. Eryn enjoys learning and practicing the traditional art of food preservation, going on long walks and eating dark chocolate.
Located on the edge of Campbell’s Bay, Quebec, we are treated to scenery from the rolling hills. Being situated on the Ottawa river creates the perfect micro-climate. The mix of sand and mineral rich clay support our growing needs. Old forgotten barns are repurposed to help us get established and the pasture and hay fields are slowly coming back to life with the movement of our animals grazing.
